Robyn Needham
As an actor, Robyn has been in over thirty productions including staged plays, films and web series. Over the years, her love of acting led her to study arts education and teach drama classes for nine years. As a mentor, trainer, and director of numerous musicals and student films, her wide range of creative roles have shaped her into the voiceover artist she is today.
Clients have said that Robyn has a lovely, clear and caring voice; however, we know that voiceover is more than having a beautiful instrument. With Robyn’s background, she really knows how to connect to the listener and personalize the words in the script. She has an outstanding work ethic and she is punctual, organized and detail-oriented. Robyn works out of her home studio in Cleveland, Ohio where she records in Adobe Audition and is available for directed sessions via Source Connect, Skype or Zoom.
Robyn graduated with a degree in Theatre Arts from the prestigious Baldwin Wallace University in Cleveland, Ohio. She currently holds a theatre arts teaching certificate and is trained in public speaking, hosting, and vocal technique. Robyn has studied voiceover with local voice artists Bob Michaels and C.J. Critt and she regularly works with a variety of coaches to sharpen her voiceover skills.
In her free time Robyn loves reading, bird watching and riding her bike. As a self-proclaimed foodie, she is always ready for the next meal her husband makes on the grill. She also enjoys the occasional challenge of writing lyrics for his music business. Planning long road trips to the mountains makes her happy and their sweet cat, Mocha, always makes her smile.
